In order to ensure a respectful use of public space, pony asks that its users respects some general parking rules when using the vehicles. These guidelines are composed of general parking etiquette and city-specific regulations.
City-specific regulations
Each city operates in one of the two following ways :
- Free Parking
Some cities allow free parking: you can end your journey wherever you want within the operational zone (indicated in blue in your pony app), and you would then park your pony in the same manner you would park your own bike.
- Dedicated Parking Spots
Other cities require that your pony is parked within one of the many dedicated parking zones locates across the cities. These are often indicated by a white rectangle painted on the ground, with a scooter or bike symbol. You will also find these indicated in the app by a pink "P".
